Virginia Credit Union Honored as ‘Best Credit Union,’ ‘Best Mortgage Lender’ by Richmond Magazine
ShareVirginia Credit Union has been recognized as “Best Credit Union” and “Best Mortgage Lender” in Richmond magazine’s popular “Best and Worst” publication.
Each year, local residents are asked to vote for the area’s best businesses and service providers, including those in the banking sector. This marks the third consecutive year that Richmond magazine readers picked Virginia Credit Union as “Best Credit Union.”
“We strive to be our members’ trusted financial services provider,” says Tim Kelly, VACU’s executive vice president of member services. “Richmond is home, and we remain deeply committed to the financial success of our members and our community. As a testament to that commitment, we’ve significantly expanded our branch network, deepened our relationships with local schools and community groups, and we’ve been recognized for our economic development efforts. And while we’re proud of those accomplishments and of our first-class financial products and services, our success is really owed to our knowledgeable and trusted staff.”
As part of our commitment to creating and maintaining healthy, vibrant communities through homeownership, VACU has made mortgage lending a priority.
‘We understand that buying a home is life’s biggest financial decision, so we take an all-in approach to helping members with knowledgeable mortgage professionals with local expertise, a comprehensive suite of mortgage-related products with competitive rates, and a personal approach with every borrower,” says Mitchell Jones, VACU’s senior vice president of mortgage lending. “We can also connect borrowers with in-house realty and insurance services, and we offer other benefits to help buyers, including discounts on closing costs and access to grant programs.”
Richmond magazine’s “Best and Worst” publication is available locally in print and online.
